22nd and GLISAN PDX
my most favorite vibrant home in the NW hillside with maddy.
it was an easy bike ride down, and a sobering battle all the way up.
i miss the heat blasting in our faces as we slept on our foam beds on the floor. most of all i miss the jungle surrounding our neighborhood, and waking up each morning to stacey Q and the petshop boys blaring from across the house.
2nd and BURNSIDE
i will always be fond of this place and my wonderful surrogate-mother friends for letting me crash for 2 months. i was basically homeless and poor. living downtown portland, with views like this every day during happy hour, made a lively outing with the portland bike messengers really dangerously easy. but sometimes it was the only thing that enabled me to come home and pass out on this 4 foot long couch.
GOVEY "SCUMMITS"
ahh the summit apartments in Government Camp, Mt. Hood. it was a white trash life and i will never live it down. here i learned about survival...
including an average of 4-hours of sleep while fully clothed plus a hat and bandana around my eyes. we opened our cans with a camping tool when we had food to eat. thankfully our shit did not get stolen (by keeping most of it in our cars) and we were able to sleep 3 on two twin mattresses.
RIVERVIEW TOWER MSP
having just moved to minneapolis, living in a massive studio was ultimately lonely. i was addicted to raisins, gingersnaps, myspace, and photographing this nice set of windows. what resulted was a wild hair under my ass to hit the long road to the west.
CENTRAL HILLSIDE DULUTH HOME

by far the smallest room i have ever lived in, it was totally the best!
vegan dinner parties, then living with a bunch of boys, having a studio and living right between both new and old locations of the co-op and brisk morning runs along chester creek park. here, i had it made.

HOME @ UMD 2
this is the second home-away-from home i ever lived in. also my second UMD campus housing apartment assignment.
after the first semester, roomates katie and katie moved out. leaving me and amy to massive rooms to mess up ourselves!
